Research Communications and Periodicals Unit within University Relations is charged with reporting on progress, discoveries and advances made by researchers at The Ohio State University.
The unit has three goals:
- to
translate and convey through the major national science, medical
and environmental news media the findings and conclusions of
research efforts underway by Ohio State University researchers
- to
establish and reinforce in the minds of those important news
media "gatekeepers" that Ohio State is one of the top research
universities in the country.
- to deal in the most constructive manner with stories arising in the area of research risks.
